forward earth receives €1.2mn of funding from the EU

The Berlin-based environmental data startup forward earth is developing an AI-powered environmental management tool for holistic data collection in carbon management.

forward earth has received funding from the "Pro Fit" program by the Investment Bank of Berlin (IBB). The funds, co-financed through EU resources (ERDF), will enable the startup to develop an advanced CO2 management solution. This white-label carbon solution can be integrated into the existing platforms of other software providers. Forward Earth’s approach focuses on three core elements: AI-driven automation, legal compliance, and a targeted orientation toward supply chain dynamics.

Founded in 2023 by Dr. Micha Schildmann, forward earth aims to make a significant contribution to businesses with its IBB ProFIT project, titled “Development and Research of an Integration-Ready and Dynamically Legally Compliant CO2 Management Optimization Platform Using LLM.” The project is designed to help companies meet extensive regulatory requirements through a digitized management system.
